MHD Nanofluid Flow Over a Stretching Sheet Through a Porous Medium with Heat Generation and Thermal Radiation

摘要
The problem of boundary layer flow of a MHD nanofluid past a stretching sheet through a porous medium has been investigated analytically, in the presence of thermal radiation and heat generation/absorption. The effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis are considered simultaneously. The highly nonlinear coupled partial differential equations are simplified with the help of suitable similarity transformations. The reduced equations are solved analytically with the help of homotopy analysis method (HAM). The expressions for velocity, temperature and nanoparticle volume fraction are computed for some values of the parameters namely, Brownian motion parameter, thermophoresis parameter, magnetic field parameter, porosity parameter and nanofluid Lewis number. Also, surface heat transfer rate (Nusselt number), and mass transfer rate (nanoparticle Sherwood number) on these parameters have been discussed.
