摘要
EXAFS fluorescence spectroscopy has been applied to elucidate the location of Mn in the LiNbO3 lattice. Three meaningful peaks have been observed in the EXAFS spectra. The first has been associated to the nearest oxygen neighbors (at about 2.0 angstrom from Mn), and the two others to niobium ions (at distances 3.1 and 3.6 angstrom from Mn). The data are consistent with Mn lying at the Li site.
