摘要：

The aim of the present paper is to present a diachronic perspective on the situation of the debate about Postmodernism. This term of enormous success has also been key in the generation of a debate, which both shows the conflictive side of Postmodernism as well as presents its vitality and true nature. The very existence of the debate points at the decisive role played by intellectuals in a society centered on knowledge and information, yet still searching for an explanation to its' questions.
