摘要
This research examines the informal economy in Villavicencio, given the increasing growth of this sector and the limited scientific literature on the implications of informality in the economic and social space of the city. The informal economy is constant and the biggest employment generator in Villavicencio. Social science theories, describes it as a problems that affects people's quality life. This article tries to interpret this phenomenon of informality from a point of view without bias. It considers it like an obstacle for market development. Also, it shows economic and social interactions, which exhibit informal life style like a struggle to survive.
