摘要
The contribution of the literature in the Hispano. American culture is out of doubt. Among other ways, it has been done by presenting the American << newness >> and by reporting the unending desire and imagination. Literature not only is the art of language, but the permanent dwelling of humanity in which we lived. In the recent expressions of Hispano-American literature, the subjects of history, memory and imagination received special importance. This literature warns of the dangers of the forgetfulness, the risk of leaving the language and the necessity to continue having an ample cultural spaces where the creativity is a form of reinvention what we are, or to imagine what we need or, at last, having the possibility of naming what happens, i.e. that nobody must be keep in silence: condemned silences, the reasons of poverty, margination, explotation. To talk about these matters we have choosen two Mexican writers, Carlos Fuentes and Carmen Boullosa.
