摘要：

This paper traces a vast journey through literary figuration and representation of urban landscape in time, paying special attention to modern and postmodern times. Natural landscape has been reabsorbing in the urban landscape that, since the XIXth century, finds a specific morphology in which are found concepts and metaphors such as the city-body, the artificial paradise, the city-sewer and metropolitan, the city-palimpsest, etc.
