摘要：

The diagnosis of bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) infections is an essential component for the control and prevention of this disease. This article discusses the application of diagnostic laboratory methods for the diagnosis of BVDV infections. Additionally, the development of control programs based on the application of diagnostic testing and epidemiologic methods are addressed.
