摘要
This paper presents a theoretical basis for deriving the energy-efficiency coefficient as a criterion for a radar system, starting from equations describing the energy conversions in the transmitter and the detector and on the radiation-propagation path. In addition, the essence of the derived coefficient is analyzed, and it is shown that it can be used to compare different types of radar systems independently of the operating principle, the purpose, and the working conditions.
