摘要
This paper is one of the series of papers presenting results of ecophysiological and micrometeorological investigations in the oak-hornbeam forest at Bab (SW Slovakia). A dendroclimatological study of the Turkey oak at Bab located in the northern part of its natural distribution area in Europe is given. No influence of the low temperature to the tree-ring width was found there. The primary limiting factor of wood mass increment was precipitation, especially the total precipitation of the 14-month period and both autumn and spring precipitations. The summer precipitation as well as the temperature characteristics were not so significant. A statistical model of the tree-ring increment was developed and used for estimation of probable inner conditions of the tree species.
