摘要
Correlation diagrams for the potential energy surfaces of various electronic states for atom + molecule collisions in partially dissociated air are constructed. Quenching mechanisms for electronically excited species are studied. The results afford an explanation and prediction of the products of quenching of electronically excited species and enable rate constants to be estimated for reactions for which little data is available.
