摘要：
The use of geographic data and geographical information systems (GIS) by NGOs is also minority. Those tools can improve the most daily activities developed by NGOs like planning, management and evaluation projects. In this paper, we try to analyse some advantages, focused on NGOs that act in developing countries, witch GIS tools, as well as the possibilities that of Internet offers to get geographical information, often freely. Its illustrated by simple methodological proposal to do Central America's natural risks mapping, creating a free database extracted from Internet and using GIS tools.
