摘要
Critically ill patients are in a dynamic and often precarious physiological state; transfer potentially exposes them to additional harm and instability. The goal of critical care transfer should be the maintenance of high-quality care while moving the patient to an appropriate location, in an expedient and safe manner.(1) This review aims to provide an overview of safe transfer practice and is not intended as a 'how-to' guide.
