摘要
Two unique functions of wavelength-selective spectral response and optically induced multistability have been demonstrated at room temperature by using self-electrooptic effects of a GaAs/AlAs asymmetric coupled double quantum well structure with carefully designed well widths and barrier thicknesses. Also, a brief discussion is presented on the effect of well widths and barrier thicknesses on the anticrossing properties of the coupled quantum wells.
