摘要：

This work aims to conduct an analysis of the poem "Camelos" of Manuel Bandeira, published in the book Libertinagem, 1930, in order to observe how the writer develops his poetic nature of simple and commonplace. To this will be presented a brief history by modernism, showing how the poet entered in this movement, and how it directly influenced in his poetic writing and tuning. Libertinagem is a work in which the modernist movement is reflected more strongly, where the poet "reaches a high poetic emotion through the words the simplest day to day". (ARRIGUCCI, 2009:15).
