摘要：

The aerial parts of Echinodorus grandiflorus Mitch., a species of Alismataceae from Brazil, yielded a new diterpene alcohol named echinodol (1) in addition to the known steroid stigmasterol. Its constitution and relative configuration were established by high resolution NMR techniques.
