摘要
An air sampling system to measure power plant effluents from a fixed-wing, light aircraft has been developed and evaluated both in the laboratory and in the field. The sampling system is easily adaptable to a Cessna 206 and provides the capability to measure oxides of sulfur, oxides of nitrogen, particulates and SF//6 tracer gas. Evaluation of the apparatus has indicated that real-time measurements of the conversion of NO to NO//2 in the plume at distances up to twenty-five miles are feasible. The oxides of sulfur are measured by a technique employing KOH impregnated filter papers which has been proven to have very high reliability and precision.
