摘要
The virtual contact loading method is developed to study the load distributions along the threads in a three-dimensional bolt-nut connector. The contact phenomenon between the female and male screw flanks is simulated by the distributed virtual contact loads. In the smooth contact case, the calculated results agree well with those from other analytical and numerical methods. But, in a frictional sliding contact case, the load distribution law has small difference. The computational efficiency is increased and the accuracy is higher.
