摘要
The Wills-Harrison model for the effective pair potential of transition metals has been employed to perform the Gibbs-Bogoliubov variational calculation for the structure and thermodynamics of three typical 3d liquid metals Fe, Co and Ni using charged hard sphere plasma model as reference. Calculations show in general good applicability of the present model for these less simple metals.
