摘要：
Penetrating abdominal trauma is an acute life-threatening emergency. The challenges of emergency department management are compounded in the pediatric population. This article focuses on the pediatric patient suffering from penetrating abdominal trauma, the importance of rapid diagnosis and treatment of shock, as well as the workup and definitive management of children with penetrating abdominal injuries.
