摘要
Agricultural and natural areas conversion into urban areas is a progressive and irreversible process that has various negative impacts on the environmental, economic and social sphere. Nowadays, the process named "land take"is becoming relevant and it is receiving finally adequate consideration from decision makers and therefore it is starting to be deeply analyzed. The availability of multi-temporal land use/cover and satellite imaging enables the spatiotemporal evaluation and measurement of the phenomenon with different degrees of resolution.
