Motivations, Philosophy, and Therapeutic Approaches of a Child-Centered Play Therapist: An Interview With Garry L. Landreth

To encourage counselors to implement humanistic approaches with children, the author conducted an interview with Garry Landreth, a renowned child-centered play therapist. Landreth'S motivations, theoretical philosophy, therapeutic approaches, case examples, and words of wisdom for counselors are detailed in this article. Direction in light of managed care is provided.
