摘要
Social and economic transition has a direct relation with the health-disease panorama of childhood and adolescence. These stages are basic in life for the formation of values and attainment of skills; unfortunately children and adolescents are one of the most vulnerable groups to poverty and its magnitude varies widely from one state to another in the country, which drastically limits their future possibilities of social integration. Thence the importance of situating individuals under 18 years of age in our country with the type of family in which they grow, income of the family and aspects of poverty and marginal situation as determinants of the health.
