Some scope of the concept of representation. Manuela Saenz: the case of an exclusion

The word representation emerges in the scientific and philosophical world, not without meaning in the political, artistic end aesthetic dimensions, The political realm has granted this term a complex sense, which makes it difficult to think of it outside of a polysemic notion. As a consequence, in this realm, some sort of polysemic struggle has been going on to legitimize the meanings of representation such as 'representer' and 'representative', words that among us designate the acceptable modes of political intervention. From the conceptual clarity of the given concept, and in the political world, it is the aim of this dissertation to locate and characterize some of the representations Manuela Soenz was and continues being an object of a historical woman that attended and participated actively in one of the most transcendental historical and cultural moments that Spanish America lived in the XIX century.
