ANALYSIS OF THE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS OPINION FROM THE LAKES REGION (CHILE) ABOUT THE CLASSES BASED ON A MIXED MODALITY

This resesrch has been carried out in the Region de Los Lagos-Chile. 328 Physical Education teachers working in different Chilean Secondary Schools werw sample. The main objective was to analyze the teachers opinion carryng out the Physical Education class under a new approach of teaching, that is, to mixed groups of students (boy and gils). Having reviewed the literature and designed the instrument, a descriptive is made whose data are gathered by using the Liket enquiry as instrument. The main variable being considered through thi study was: teachers opinion about teaching Physical Education to mixed groups, the following aspects being the motor learning of the student; affects of teaching Physical Education to mixel group on the social learning of the students; effects of teaching Physical Education to mixed group on the participation of the teacher in the classroom. Coeducation is practice which an important number of male and woman teachers have been putting into use since years ago, although in no way, wew can say that this coeducational model has been established in a generalized way in Chile.
