摘要：

In 2 identical experiments involving a total of 40 rats the effect of daily dietary .gamma.-linolenic acid (GLA) supplementation on induced tumor growth was investigated. GLA supplementation evidently did not have an effect on tumor induction, tumor growth or survival time. The validity of the model used, infection of rats with human hepatoma cells, could be questioned.
