摘要
Using the example of racial integration in Cape Town high schools, this article asks whether young South Africans' daily experience of interracial contact contributes to reconciliation. Drawing on ethnographic data, it describes four distinct approaches to integration that, although different, all indicate that the contribution of integration to reconciliation has been limited because of the limited transformation in society at large.
