摘要
This research discusses some considerations and reflections on the experience in community participation in health Undergraduate Training Program in Public Health Management (PFGGSP) of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela. It is part of the concept of health as a complex process and expression of the material and social conditions of life /the citizens /as in our country, assuming that health and disease are determined by the conditions of life and resources. The objective is to analyze the importance of sociopolitical PFGGSP and drives community participation in health for development of community health in the popular sectors and the transformation of social consciousness. The study was based theoretically on knowledge issued by Figueroa, D. (2002) and Franco, A. (2006) authors. For this research methodology was used as participatory action research. The most relevant results is evidenced as answers PFGGSP state policies on health and education taking as central to the /as citizens /as, their living conditions, their interaction with the community and socio-cultural factors as determinants contextualized of their health status, therefore its implementation is necessary throughout the national territory; leads to the construction of the new National Public Health System embodied in our Constitution, which must address its shares from the local basis of social reality and oriented toward the consolidation of health through collective participation strategies also promotion and disease prevention with a collective vision.
