DISCOVERY OF A NEW SU UMA-TYPE DWARF NOVA V344 LYRAE

摘要
A faint dwarf nova, V344 Lyrae, was observed for five nights in its long outburst during May-June, 1993. Tr-band CCD photometry revealed superhumps with a period of 0.09145(+\-0.00002)d and an amplitude of 0.3 mag. This finding confirms V344 Lyrae as being a new member of SU UMa-type dwarf novae and places it as the second longest orbital-period dwarf nova below the period gap. The cycle lengths of the normaloutbursts and superoutbursts have been estimated to be 16+/-3d and 240d, respectively.
