A brief survey is presented of the thermophysical properties of petroleum, petroleum products, hydrocarbons, and their mixtures and of other working fluids that are being investigated at the Grozny Petroleum Institute in the USSR. The properties include density, specific heat, surface tension, thermal conductivity, and viscosity.
