This paper briefly presents the technical and construction characteristics of the microhydropower units (microhydroturbines and electric generators) having power under 1200 kW and of the steam-turbines of low-power (under 1000 kW) that were produced by Romanian industry and used to equip the microhydroelectric power stations and steam power stations of low capacity.
