摘要
The purpose of this research is to develop a two-dimensional model capable of predicting the external characteristics (voltage, current, emf, torque ...) of synchronous motors with skewed stator. An electromagnetic software, using finite elements, FLUX-2D, is used for this study. The slots and the teeth are replaced by two line elements: a "line" air gap of which width g(B) depends on the flux density and a current sheet which represents the stator slot current. It brings about a cut in the problem size (the teeth area does not need to be mesh) therefore it reduces the study time. As regard the experimental results, the simplification does not seem to spoil the accuracy of the motor parameters.
