OBSERVATION OF HIGHER HARMONIC BIFURCATIONS IN A CHAOTIC SYSTEM USING A LASER DIODE ACTIVE INTERFEROMETER

摘要
Successive higher harmonic bifurcations are observed in a nonlinear optical system which consists of a laser diode interferometer with delayed electronic feedback. The harmonic solutions have periodic states called higher mode self-oscillations. the harmonic solutions also show irregular periodic or chaotic states. The periodic solution evolves into the odd-order higher harmonic states due to the continuity model of the actual system.
