摘要
Tibial spine and tibial tuberosity fractures are the most commonly occurring avulsion injuries around the knee in adolescents. Tibial spine fractures are more common and have undergone a progression from largely nonoperative treatment, to open, mini-open, and finally arthroscopic treatment. Tibial tuberosity fractures involve the extensor mechanism of the knee and are typically treated with open reduction and internal fixation to restore its functional integrity. This chapter will review the anatomy, epidemiology, evaluation, and management of both of these injuries.
