PHASE COHERENCE OF NORMAL ELECTRONS IN MESOSCOPIC WIRE STRUCTURES WITH SUPERCONDUCTING SEGMENTS IN THE DIFFUSIVE REGIME

摘要
The decay of the phase memory of normal electrons in the superconductors in contact with normal metals is studied. The phase coherence length is calculated at temperatures just above T(c) and is found to be reduced due to the thermal fluctuation. The conductance fluctuation in a ring made of superconducting and normal wires in a magnetic field is found to show a Aharonov-Bohm type oscillation with the flux period of hc/2e due to the Andreev reflection.
