Dynamics of weakly connected linear macromolecules. Pokrovskii V.N. Uspekhi Fizicheskikh Nauk. May 1992.v. 162,No.5.Pp. 87-121. Investigation results concerning slow relaxation processes in undilute solutions and melts of polymers are reported. The efficiency of an unimolecular approximation when one deals with a chosen macromolecule which moves among the neighbours as in any adtereffect medium is demonstrated. The proposed macromolecule dynamics is confirmed with the data on optical anisotropy, diffusion, and neutron scattering. The approach results in a self-consistent theory of viscoelasticity with a few brandches of relaxation processes.
