摘要：

The coordination geometry about Pt in the title complex, [PtCl2(C8H18O2S2)], deviates slightly from square planar. The Pt ion is bonded to two Cl atoms, arranged in a cis configuration, and two S atoms of the bidentate disulfoxide ligand.
