摘要
It is pointed out that nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of the naturally abundant nuclide N-14 in an oriented crystal yield the nuclear magnetic shielding tensor, in addition to the nuclear electric quadrupole interaction tensor. The primary shielding anisotropy (DELTA-sigma-z) of N-14 in KNO3 is 149.8 X 10(-6); in Li3N it is 260 x 10(-6).
