APPROACH TO SATURATION IN NANOCRYSTALLIZED FILMS OF IRON AND NICKEL

摘要
Nanocrystallized films of iron and nickel have been elaborated using low-energy cluster beam deposition (LECBD) techniques. Grain size distribution is very narrow and close to 5 nm. The approach to saturation is interpreted in terms of the random anisotropy model. In particular, the anisotropy and inter-grain exchange coupling energies have been determined.
