摘要
A study is in progress on the grain size distribution in the metastable beta alloy Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al. During this work a method was developed to reveal simultaneously the location of prior deformed grain boundaries and recrystallized grain boundaries not only in the as-annealed material but also during the recrystallization process and early stages of grain growth. It also reveals evidence of the nucleation sites of the recrystallized grains and shows the direction and stages of propagation of the growing grains.
