IDENTIFICATION OF RISKS IN PUBLIC SECTOR PROCUREMENT: A CASE STUDY

In the twenty-first century it is common for organizations acting in dynamic environments where the implementation of its activities is associated with risks often difficult to predict. The identification of these risks is desirable, while you can save effort and reduce costs. In this sense, this article aims to analyze an acquisition in the public sector and identify the risks in the process. The acquisition selected for analysis is a Public Competition, the National Institute of Space Research. The methodology used to identify the risks in the procurement process was an interview with public officials involved in the analysis and documentation. The results suggest that it is given great importance to the development of conceptual design, initial element of the case and how to approach areas involved in the process and train public officials on matters relating to the process.
