摘要
The perception of corruption is one of the central elements of Spanish public opinion. For some, it is an exaggerated construction provoked by some media that have turned corruption scandals into high-demand merchandise. For others, it is a true reflection of the deterioration of a flawed political system, without controls or penalties, undergoing the growing commercialization of services and rights imposed by the non-stop pressure of neoliberalism. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the functioning of the sources that feed the perception of corruption at the juncture 2012-13, just when it reached its highest levels, and to evaluate its potential systemic effects.
