摘要
The affinities of European Late Cretaceous theropod dinosaurs are discussed; the remains are generally isolated teeth or undiagnostic bones: the species Megalosaurus pannoniensis SEELEY, M. lonzeensis DOLLO and M. hungaricus NOPCSA are nomina dubia; they are considered as undetermined Theropoda. Only three European fossils can be referred to the family Abelisauridae. Tarascosaurus salluvicus nov. gen., nov. sp., is the first dinosaur described from the Late Cretaceous of the Beausset Syncline; it is compared to other theropods from Europe and South America, and referred to the family Abelisauridae.
