摘要
In this present paper we will underline the metaphysical importance of theatre in the philosophy of Gabriel Marcel. In so far as an existential philosophy aims to reveal the truth of concrete existence, in its temporality and dramaticity, the naked experience reflected by authentic drama makes possible a privileged revelation of man as an itinerant being. However, not only theater offers an understanding of existence in its solitary dimension, but also of its intersubjective and transcendent dimension. That's why, according to Marcel, is in drama that metaphysics can understand itself and define in concreto.
