摘要：

Hemangioendothelioma is a rare vascular tumour of endothelial cell origin. It may involve bone or soft tissues and can behave like a benign or malignant tumour. A 54-year-old man presented with localized swelling over the parietal and occipital bones. He was neurologically intact. Radiographic images showed an expansible osteolytic lesion in the parietal-occipital bones. The patient was treated by wide surgical resection. This report contributes to the scarce literature on these tumours in the skull. (C) 2007 The College of Radiographers. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
