摘要
We suggest a new vortex state in neutron stars. Vortex line meandering leads to an entangled vortex state whose coupling with the inner crust of the star can explain the sudden speed-ups, or ''glitches'', observed in many pulsars. A scenario on the origin of pulsar glitches is presented.
