摘要
The maximum signal levels that are possible with modulation transfer spectroscopy using both amplitude modulated and frequency modulated pump fields are theoretically investigated. The results indicate that amplitude modulation produces signals that are larger than those obtained with frequency modulation for modulation frequencies that are suitable for frequency locking applications.
