摘要
The migration policies of member countries of the European Union have changed significant in recent decades. The way to face the fact multicultural varies considerably from one country to another, and educational policies have been adopted in this regard are mixed. The wearing of veil in schools has generated a series of controversies in recent times that have come to mean a public debate in several European countries. The use of religious symbols in schools has become a problem that every European state faces a peculiar way. The solutions have been mixed. Sometimes, it is the institutions themselves decide on the costumes of the students, while at other times there are state regulations on this issue. The relationship with secular aspects, democracy and respect for individual freedom, have been discussed.
