摘要：
Three methods have been used to calculate stress concentration factors of sharp edge notches, and the results are compared with those obtained with a finite element method. Although all three methods give good quantitative agreement with the finite element results, it is shown that the most reliable estimates are obtained from K//t geometry correction factors of elliptical holes, or K geometry correction factors of cracked specimens.
