摘要
The solvent-solute energy transfer rate parameter K-3 is determined for a deoxygenated binary liquid scintillator system consisting of toluene (solvent), 2-phenyl-5-(4-biphenylyl)- 1,3,4-oxadiazole (PBD) (solute) and bromobenzene as an external solvent quencher under u.v. excitation in the temperature range of 20-70 degrees C. The experimental results are discussed in the light of energy migration model of Levin et al.
