摘要：
This paper reviews the use of the concept of by-passing applied to the performance curves of the various types of separators. It is concluded that while the concept is valuable and its inclusion in models should be continued, it is unlikely that the amount of by-pass is constant, as has been assumed in the past. © 1990.
